Personal Mantra: “You must do things you feel you cannot do!”
Words of Wisdom: Gymnastics has been a part of my life for so long it is hard to imagine at one point in my life I had lost touch with this sport. I was devastated when that happened but the lessons that I took from the loss have stuck with me. Gymnasts are unique in the fact that not everyone can do the sport or have the mental discipline to love it, even if at times you might hate it. My hope for all the girls in this sport is that each of them take away the self-motivation, dedication, confidence, and pure love for life as I did.

Family: Mom, Dad, and sister Noelle who is a college student at Metro University
Personal Mantra: “Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.”
Words of Wisdom: Enjoy everything. I know meets can be nerve racking and worrisome, but you should enjoy the time you have as a gymnast. You should take competition seriously, but don’t take it too seriously. Try your best and don’t let one mistake ruin your entire meet because a year from now that moment won’t even matter. Enjoy your teammates, your coaches, the atmosphere, the competition, but most importantly just enjoy the sport of gymnastics. 🙂
